Astroverse ("we", "us") provides astrology readings, birth chart calculations, and live consultations with astrologers through our mobile app and website. This page explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Account details: name, phone number, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
• Birth details: date, time, and place of birth (including coordinates) — required to calculate your birth chart. This is sensitive personal data and is used only for that purpose.
• Consultation content: chat messages and call metadata (duration, participants, cost) between you and astrologers on the platform. Chat messages are stored to give you a history of your own consultations.
• Payment and wallet activity: wallet top-ups and per-minute consultation charges, processed via Razorpay. We do not store your card or bank details — Razorpay handles that directly.

How we use it

• To calculate and display your horoscope and birth chart.
• To connect you with astrologers for chat and call consultations, and to bill those sessions correctly.
• To maintain your account and consultation history.
• To investigate disputes or policy violations (e.g. a complaint against an astrologer).

Who can see your data

Your birth details and consultation content are visible to you and to the astrologer(s) you actively consult — not to other users or other astrologers. Our support team may access consultation records to investigate a specific complaint or dispute.

Data retention

We keep your account, birth chart, and consultation history for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (below); we'll retain only what we're legally required to for financial record-keeping.

Third parties

We use Razorpay for payment processing and Agora for voice/video call infrastructure. Neither has access to your birth details or chat content — only what's necessary for their function (payment amounts, call routing).

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account, by emailing us at the address below.
